ENT
Ear, nose and throat medicine primarily includes examinations of the nose (e.g. rhinoscopy, nasal function test), the throat and ears (e.g. ear microscopy). Endoscopic procedures also play a major role in ENT medicine due to the head and neck regions that are difficult to access.
Our ENT doctors also carry out palpation examinations, tests of sensory functions (balance tests, smell tests), allergy tests and hearing tests. The imaging methods used in ENT practices are primarily ultrasound and x-rays.
Complex imaging procedures such as computer tomography or magnetic resonance tomography in collaboration with colleagues working in radiology provide support for specific questions.
