Dr. Ardeshir Ardeshiri is a German specialist in neurosurgery . He was trained in general neurosurgery and spinal surgery at the university clinics in Munich and Essen. During this time he specialized in microsurgical spine surgery
About
As a specialist, Dr. In addition to neurosurgical spinal operations, Ardeshiri also specializes in orthopedic spinal operations such as fusion operations or the treatment of spinal fractures, particularly using minimally invasive procedures. Other surgical focuses are cervical disc replacement, tumor surgery (including intradural tumors) and the ring closure of lumbar disc herniations (Barricaid®). Closing the ring with Barricaid®. In ring closure with Barricaid®, Dr. Ardeshiri is the most experienced surgeon in the world.
Over the past 5 years, treating chronic pain patients with neuromodulation has become one of Dr. Ardeshiri's main themes in clinic and research. He is highly specialized in spinal cord stimulation and in the treatment of patients in the lower back with neurostimulation of the multifidus muscle (Reactiv8®). He is the world's most experienced surgeon in the field of neurostimulation of the multifidus muscle.
