Breasts that are too small or too saggy can be a problem for many women. With a breast augmentation or mamma augmentation, the female breast can be aesthetically shaped, enlarged and given more fullness.
Depending on personal preference, round or teardrop-shaped implants can be used for the operation. In addition, the starting position plays a decisive role in the result. The aim is an overall aesthetic and harmonious body image, which gives the woman new self-confidence and underlines her natural beauty.
Before the operation
Before the operation at the Glückstadt Hospital, you will receive detailed advice from a specialist in plastic surgery. The doctor will advise you, taking into account your personal wishes and your initial situation, which implants shape and size is suitable for you. Furthermore, among other things, the placement of the implant is discussed (above, partially above or below the pectoral muscle). The body shape of every woman is different, for this reason each operation must be planned individually for each woman.
Operation
Depending on the initial situation, different incisions can be used for the operation. The aim here is always to place the smallest possible incisions in order to work without scarring. It is possible to implant the implant through the underbust crease, the armpit or through the nipple. If desired, round or anatomical implants can be used in combination with breast augmentation.
After the operation
A compression bra should be worn for about 6 weeks after the operation. This ensures that the implant remains in the intended place in the breast that has not yet healed. In addition, heavy physical work and sports should also be avoided for 6 weeks. Light work can be possible again after a few days to two weeks. Approximately 10 days after the breast augmentation you will have stitches removed. Three appointments are scheduled for follow-up care. 1 week to 10 days post-surgery, about 6 weeks post-surgery, and after about 6 months.
